A 39-year-old Oklahoma man was arrested by Bowie Police July 24 with nearly two pounds of marijuana.

The arrest came during a drug interdiction check-point period on July 24. Lt. Rick Beckham, criminal investigation division, said the arrest occurred at 10:50 p.m. during a period where the “drug check-point ahead” sign was posted along a section of U.S. 287.
