NISD Life Skills House enjoys open house

Christmas is not just a season, it is a year-long journey at Nocona Independent School’s Life Skills House.

Special Education teacher Norma Jackson, assesses the strengths and talents for each student, who have the potential to live and work in a community engaging in meaningful employment.

Not only do they learn personal finances and culinary skills, they have achieved outstanding hospitality excellence.

This was highly demonstrated at the reception during the Christmas open house from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Dec. 17. Guests are pictured visiting during the open house. (Courtesy photo)
