  1. MY OPINION ONLY … BUT WHY HAVEN’T THE RULES for this crazy event been modified … No children under 12 or 15 …restrictions might save lives I can’t believe how foolish people are about getting together to play in the mud.

    • Its Supposed to be 18 and older To even enter The gates I don’t know if they changed the rules this year Its just sad That a Little boy had to lose his life For stronger policies to be enacted Hopefully his Father won’t be charged with Neglect Or something on top of losing his Son Or the owner of the land Get a charge on him

    • The rules strictly apply that children under 12 are not allowed in the mud pit at all. They have to stay in the kids hole and must be surprised. But the rule us never enforced because they sometimes lie about their age.

    • This could have happened to a 50 year old man! ACCIDENTS HAPPEN.

RWP’s rules are minors can come in but MUST be with a parent or legal guardian at all times.

RWP can’t be to blame when a child is alone and not wearing a helmet with 12,000+ people around.

    • A family just lost there son you should be more consider that before you bash people for what they like to do

  2. My heart and prayers go out to the family. This news just breaks my heart. May God be with you all.

  3. This event has always been stupid. The whole reason it exists is for people to gather in one place and all be drunken idiots. It should never have been conceived in the first place. It serves no purpose. Hopefull now it will be cancelled for good. This little boy died be use he was surrounded by a bunch of grown idiots who should have been looking out for him, but they were to busy acting like complete morons.

    • Yeah stupid event right. Have you even been to this event? Get this through that little pea size brain of yours. Accidents happen. I feel bad for what happened but like I said accidents happen you don’t see people wanting to close down six flags when someone get hurt or even killed. Yeah there is a lot of drinking but don’t say that’s the only reason go out there. It’s a event where people who have a passion for mudding can go out and have a good time doing what they love and making new friends who have the same passion. So before you go off and say why was this even conceived and serves no purpose maybe you should open your eyes and see that everything has a purpose. And no the event will not be shut down cause like everyone else said accident happen.

  4. i don’t feel that the owners of RWP should be held responsible. Any an everyone that knows of this event knows what happens here. It’s not a place for children to be unsupervised. With that being said everyone signs a waiver before entering the park the parent(s) should’ve kept a better eye on the kid. I’m sorry they lost their child but maybe it will be an eye opener to the parents that want to bring their young children out there
