JUNIOR HIGH TRACK AND FIELD: Nocona competes at own meet

The Nocona Middle School boys’ and girls’ track and field teams competed at its own invitational back on March 2 at Jack Crain Stadium.
Nocona was second in the eighth-grade girls’ division, compiling 116 points, which was 52 points behind Henrietta.
The Braves’ seventh-grade girls totaled 45 points. Henrietta won this division as well with 157 points.
Nocona’s eighth-grade boys were third with 84 points. Boyd won with 145 points. Henrietta was tops in the seventh-grade boys’ division with 128 points, 20 better than Nocona.
Due to weather conditions, there were no field events.
