The Bowie City Council will meet at 6 p.m. on June 16 in council chambers.
Members face a brief agenda that includes three items of new business, along with the consent agenda and city manager’s report.
A resolution relating to the application for quality Energy Conservation Bonds for financing of energy efficiency and conservation equipment will be considered. The city is awaiting a feasibility study that is exploring all energy aspects of city operations.
Specifically the council would like to pursue the installation of “smart meters,” for electric service. The report is expected next month and legislative action has provided a mechanism to help with financing.
The Bowie Municipal Airport Advisory Board will submit a recommendation for new officers and members. The board met last month and reorganized.
Vivint, Inc., has applied for an itinerant vendor permit requiring council action.
