DECATUR- Callen Jace Little, 9, a student, went to be with our Lord on June 13, 2015 in Decatur, TX.
Funeral was at 11 a.m. June 18 at Grace Fellowship in Paradise with burial at Sweetwater Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Michael Little, Matthew Little, Chad Huddleston, Brian Stephens, Gabe Cocanougher and Taylor Everett.
Callen was born on Nov. 7, 2005 to Michael and Tasha Little in Denton. He grew up on the Waggoner and Sauder Ranch in Decatur.
Callen inherited the work ethic and humility exhibited by his family for generations. At the age of nine, Callen was working full days alongside his father, grandfather and uncle tending to the 12,000 acre ranch.
In addition to his prodigious work ethic, Callen had a striking interest in the scriptures from a young age. He would often quote bible verses to his mother and father, who were rightfully proud of their exceptional child. Callen endeavored to become the same type of master outdoorsman that his father has always been and he was well on his way.
He also took on his father’s affable mannerisms and kindness along with his mother’s strength and courage. In the short time that Callen blessed us with his presence in this world, he made an indelible impact on everyone around him. As we move forward, we will always remember Callen and try to embody the goodness he represented.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Michael and Tasha Little, Decatur; sister, Blayne Little; grandparents, Jim Bob and Christy Little, Decatur, D’Ann Little, Decatur, and Bob and Paula Woisard, Alvord; great grandparents, Maxine Little, Decatur, Stanley and Janice Pitts, Decatur, Eleanor Woisard, Lewisville, and G.W. and Ava Brummell, Pittsburg, and a host of friends.
