Saint Jo City Council fills vacant clerk’s position

Saint Jo city councilors hired Patty Hale as the new municipal clerk, with her effective start date on July 13.

Hale replaces Cammie Barton. Saint Jo City Secretary Sherri Davis reported Barton has resigned, but she will be staying on until the end of the month.

There was an executive session in which current personnel – Davis, Police Chief Tyler Roy, Police Officer Michael Montgomery and public works employees Marty Hilton, Ethan Dishman, Nathan Hilton and Arthur Weatherread – were given their annual review.

No action was taken after these employee reviews.

Resident Bob McKee was named to the Economic Development Board (Type A). Read the full story on this week’s meeting in the weekend News.
