A Nocona man questioned in connection with the Caleb Diehl disappearance was arrested this week on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child stemming from 500 incidents alleged over the course of four years.
Ricky Dale Howard, 54, was arrested in Muenster on Dec. 15. He was detained by Cooke County investigators on the pair of Montague County warrants.
The arrest warrant and supporting affidavit were presented by Montague County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Chris Hughes to County Judge Rick Lewis.
Howard was transported to the Montague County jail on Thursday morning. Bond was $500,000 on each count. As of noon on Friday, he remained in jail. Read the full story in your weekend News.
