Bowie Memorial Board approves entering into sales contract

The former Bowie Memorial Hospital which closed last November.

Following a lengthy meeting Wednesday evening, the Bowie Memorial Hospital Authority Board voted to enter into a sales contract with The Brough Group.

After 60 minutes of deliberation in executive session, the board agreed to enter into a sales contract for a price of $1.5 million. It will be for the purchase of the hospital building, all real estate, furniture, fixtures, equipment and assets, excluding mineral leases, cash and accounts receivable.
