HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: Jackrabbits pace past Paradise

The Bowie High School boys’ basketball team shot 16-of-34 from the floor in a 37-22 victory over homestanding Paradise on Tuesday evening in District 3A-9 action.
Zeke Vaughan was Bowie’s leading scorer with 13 points, while Chase Hall was the Jackrabbits’ top defender swiping five steals. Hall also grabbed a team-best seven rebounds.
For the second straight game, Bowie played a deliberate style and that carried the team to the win.
