LOCAL: Boosters purchase baseball gear

The Bowie Athletic Boosters unanimously agreed to purchase new practice pants for the baseball team.
Twenty-five pairs cost $550, through T-Shirt Safari of Wichita Falls.
In a related baseball item, improvements have been made to the locker room, ready for the upcoming 2016 season.
Girls’ basketball senior night will take place on Feb. 5 versus Jacksboro, and boys’ basketball senior night is set for Feb. 12 versus Boyd.
In new business, booster club president Craig Stallcup discussed the possible future purchase of a new inflatable run-through.
The boosters have been in talks with All-Star Inflatables out of Garland for a run-through, which could be used for football and other sports.
