Blake Enlow, principal at Bowie Elementary School, will move to the junior high next year filling the vacancy left upon the resignation of Amy Murphey, who leaves to become middle school principal in Nocona.
The board took action on the position at its Monday night meeting. After executive session there were numerous personnel changes as the teacher contracts were reviewed.
Enlow has been with Bowie Elementary as principal the last five years and brings 14 years in education to the position. Murphey has been in Bowie six years with the last three in Bowie. Several veteran teachers at Bowie Elementary have decided to retire. Read the full story in the mid-week News.
