City of Bowie Mayor Larry Slack will meet with the Montague County Commissioner’s Court Monday to discuss an increase in support for emergency medical services provided by city’s ambulance services outside its city limits.
The court will meet in regular session at 9 a.m. June 27 with finance first and foremost with presentation of the proposed 2016-17 budget followed by the first series of budget hearings.
Bowie Ambulance Service receives $18,000 annually from Montague County. The Nocona Hospital Ambulance receives $15,000 and Saint Jo EMS, manned by trained volunteers receives $12,504. Read the full story about Monday’s meeting in the weekend News.
