Curtis Eldridge presided over his first school board meeting as the new superintendent at Saint Jo Independent School District this week.
“It was a very positive meeting and a lot of excitement for the new year,” said Eldridge, who replaces Larry Smith who retired.
One month away from the start of school, trustees approved several routine items include the student code of conduct and the teacher’s salary schedule. The district continues to pay $3,200 over the state base.
