REGIONAL: Curtale joins Wildcats as head coach

The Wichita Falls Wildcats on Thursday announced Tony Curtale was named as new head coach.

Curtale most recently was head coach of HC Dallas, a team with 14- and 15-year-old players, from the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL).

Cutale replaces John LaFontaine as head coach. LaFontaine last week accepted a similar position with a hockey team based in Michigan.

The new head coach is ecstatic about returning to the North American Hockey League (NAHL).

“Wichita Falls has always been one of my favorite places in the league,” Curtale said in a prepared Wildcats’ press release. Read more in the July 27 Bowie News.
