This week paving of roads in the community of Montague began by precinct three, assisted by precinct four. Wednesday the crews were laying rock on several of the shorter straight streets in town. Commissioner Mark Murphey said they will chip and seal about six miles of streets funded in part by a state grant. He hopes to complete the work by the end of summer. The county jail inmate work program also assisted.  (Photo by Barbara Green)
