The Saint Jo football team had a strong start to their Friday night home game, outscoring McKinney Cornerstone in the first quarter – but ultimately struggled to maintain the lead.
The Warriors came out the victor, defeating the Panthers 74-38 at Harley Sewell Field.
Saint Jo head coach Chad Tallon said the team made progress from the previous week’s game.
“We were tackling much better, which is the first thing I noticed, but we still have a lot of work to do,” said Tallon. Read more in the Sept. 7 Bowie News.
