In their third straight victory of the 2016-17 season, the Bellevue High School girls’ basketball team topped Graford 51-46 on Friday night.
The win brings the Lady Eagles record to a flawless 3-0 as they faced Era last night and prepared for the Fantasy of Lights Tournament in Wichita Falls this weekend.
“It was a good win for us,” said Bellevue head coach Bryan Goehring. “We still have some stuff to clean up, but being able to start the season 3-0 is a good step for us.”
Ally Corwin led the team on offense, putting up almost half of the score with 23 points.
Corwin totaled three 3-pointers in the first half to help keep Bellevue in the lead. Read more, and see the complete box score, in the Nov. 23 Bowie News.
