ARCHER CITY — Betty Jo Watts Shaver, 90, died Dec. 28, 2016 in Archer City, TX.
The family received friends from 5 -7 p.m. Dec. 30 at The White Family Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 31 at the Bluegrove Cemetery in Bluegrove.
Watts was born June 24,1926 in Bowie to Homer and Eunice (Lovelace) Murphy. She graduated from Bowie High School in 1944. She married James Watts in Oklahoma in 1946. Watts was a housewife and was a member of the Holiness Church in Jacksboro.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Eunice Murphy; husband, James Watts; sons, Billy Jo Watts and Thomas James Watts; sister, Juanita Bradley; brother, Jimmy Murphy and niece, Patsy Reeves.
She is survived by her nephews, Orval Ray Bradley, Amarillo; Orvin Bradley Jr., Lubbock and Jerry Bradley, Archer City; and nieces, Minnie Lois Myers, Burkburnett, Lefurn Thomas, Bastrop, Mary Lyde, Henrietta; Hellen Galliton, Henrietta and Marjorie Smith, Lubbock.
Arrangements have been entrusted to The White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
