COLLEGE BASEBALL: Bentley commits to OCU

Rose State College pitcher Coby Bentley signed a National Letter of Intent on Thursday to continue his baseball career at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond.
Oklahoma Christian is a member of NCAA Division II with a record of 26-20 as of April 27, playing in the Heartland Conference with schools from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Arkansas.
Bentley was a sophomore for Rose State this year, playing in one of the toughest junior colleges in the nation. He has a record of 2-3 with an earned-run average of 5.70 in 42 2/3-innings pitched (statistics provided by NJCAA Region II).
Bentley reportedly will be a health and sports science major at OCU.
On Thursday, it was learned Cooper Cantwell, another ex-Bowie player and Bentley teammate, committed to Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.
