Bowie School Trustees will pursue an efficient buildings program that could potentially save the district more than $100,000 in utility costs annually.
The board met Monday night with officials from Entegral Solutions, which has partnered with the Texas Association of School Boards to assist districts address their maintenance and facility needs, with a focus on energy usage.
Dennis Bennett, a former Bowie district teacher and administrator, introduced the company officials. Bennett began working for E3 following his recent retirement as superintendent at Jacksboro.
Doug Kirkley and Mike Cothran of E3 and Rob Sidebottom of TASB took part in the presentation.
Cothran went through the presentation explaining they create practical and affordable solutions for the district helping it “make the most of your money.”
