The Bowie High School volleyball team gave top-ranked Boyd all it had on Tuesday night, leading by as much as six points in the first set against the Lady Yellowjackets before falling 23-25, 14-25 and 13-25.
“The girls played well the first set, but communication errors cost us the last two points,” said Head Coach Breanna Jones. “Boyd did a good job at keeping us out of system and we did not execute well in the end. Overall there were some great things happening, just not when it counted most.”
