Bowie takes tough overtime loss to Henrietta

Homecoming games that turn into overtime battles with cliffhanger moments don’t always result in a happy ending, as the Bowie Jackrabbits learned the hard way on Friday night in a 46-40 overtime loss to Henrietta.
However, the competition was Texas football worthy, giving fans a night they will remember with a first half that resulted in the best play the Jackrabbits have produced all season.

“The first half is the best football we have played all year. These five games are non-district and are preparing us for district. Every game, we bring something different and are learning from it,” explained Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Dylan Stark.
