Friday night pitted county rivals against one another as Saint Jo and Gold-Burg faced off and Forestburg and Prairie Valley did the same.
It was a Saint Jo victory for the first county match up, with the Lady Panthers defeating the Lady Bears in four sets by 16-25, 25-11, 25-12 and 25-23.
Forestburg gained the other win of the night, defeating Prairie Valley in three sets by 25-14, 25-11, 25-22.
The Nocona Lady Indians fought tooth and nail to pick up another district win against Holliday, but fell after five sets to the Lady Eagles.
The Lady Indians opened the match on top, taking the first two sets before falling by 10 points in the third.
Nocona came close to winning the fourth set and sealing a victory, but fell by just two points before being defeated in the final fifth set by 25-16, 25-15, 15-25, 23-25 and 11-15.
