The city manager’s position and the dissolution of the Bowie Main Street program will be topics on the Feb. 20 agenda of the Bowie City Council when it meets at 6 p.m.
On Feb. 8 the council approved a job offer for city manager to Kevin Huckabee, city administrator at
Jefferson, and he reportedly had accepted. An employment agreement was scheduled for Tuesday’s agenda and he was planning to attend; however, late Friday the agenda was reworked with the agreement pulled
reportedly because it was not ready. The latest agenda was changed and listed an executive session – update
on city manager position.
