Timothy Ray “Tim” Pigg

BOWIE – Timothy Ray “Tim” Pigg, 63, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 in Bowie, TX.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on July 10 at the First Baptist Church of Bowie, with Pastor Mike Henson officiating.
Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie.
Family will received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 9 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Tim was born April 5, 1956 in Bowie, he was the youngest of four kids born to Joe and Bobbie Jo (Cozart) Pigg. Tim graduated from Bowie High School in the class of 1974.
He was the former owner of the Bowie and Nocona Fina Marts, and the Red River Station in Saint Jo, and Tim currently owned and operated Pigg Towing Service with his son Jeremy Pigg, in Bowie.
He loved the outdoors, traveling to Colorado, and was an avid deer hunter. Most of all he will be remembered as a family man. Tim enjoyed watching his children grow up, he attended all sporting events and never missed a game.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Bill Duvall.
Tim is survived by his children Jeremy Pigg, Bowie; Lindsey Walterscheid and husband Jordon “JW,” Muenster; Jordon Pigg and Taylor Pigg, both of Bowie; grandchildren Lainey Navarro and Marty Walterscheid; brother Jack Pigg and wife Jonna, Bowie; sisters Carolyn Young and husband Gene, Whitesboro and Cindy Phillips and husband Leroy, Bowie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Should friends desire memorials can be made in honor if Tim to the Walker Stallcup Memorial Fund.

  1. Prayers for all. Tim was a great man and friend. I will miss his smile and always friendly wit, but can see it and hear it in my heart. Fly high!!!
