NOCONA – Charles Allen McCulloch, 77, passed away on Sept. 5, 2019 at his home in Nocona, TX.
A graveside service will be at 9 a.m. on Sept. 16 at Nocona Cemetery. Charles Osbourne will be officiating.
McCulloch was born on Sept. 8, 1941 to Henry Allen and Gladys Mabel (Brown) McCulloch in Tennessee.
He worked construction most of his life. He was skilled in framing, roofing and any other type of construction work. McCulloch worked for Sherriff-Goslin Construction in Michigan until he retired from there. He continued to work in construction in Bowie for Wendell Robbins.
He also worked as a bouncer at the Chandelier, which is where he met his wife Karen. They married on Nov. 27, 1981 and she preceded him in death in 2017.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bill McCulloch; and two brothers in law, Barry and Weldon Willingham.
He is survived by his children, Sherry Pozzi, South Bend, IN, Audra McCulloch-Cutchall, Lansing, MI, Carl McCulloch, Oxford, MI, Chrystal McCulloch, Nocona, Billy McCulloch, Bowie, Steven McCulloch, Nocona and Michael McCulloch, Nocona; 14 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lennie Hammonds, Marsha Enriquez, Lori Contino, Misty Richards, Kathy Willingham, Michael Richards and Terry Richards.
