Contemplated litigation, board appointments round out council agenda

The Bowie City Council approved 11 appointments to three separate boards and went into closed session to discuss “contemplated litigation” during its Monday night session.
The agenda listed the consultation with an attorney for “contemplated litigation E.S. & C.M.,” based on correspondence received by the city staff. Councilors convened for a 25-minute closed executive session, but returned in open session to take no action.
On the regular agenda appointments were made to the Bowie Economic Development Corporation 4A and the 4B boards, and the Bowie Library Board. Read the full story in the weekend Bowie News.
