Texas Blood Institute plans blood drive in Nocona

Texas Blood Institute is hosting a blood drive with the Nocona Community from 1-6 p.m. on Jan. 25 at the First United Methodist Church.
January marks National Blood Donor Month, and a time to focus on the critical importance of blood donation. Texas Blood Institute is urging people across Texoma to band together and commit to giving blood in 2021.
Blood donors will receive a free, long-sleeved “2021 Fingers Crossed” t-shirt.
Blood donation typically takes only about an hour, and one donation saves up to three lives. Appointments can be made by calling 1-877-340-8777 or visiting obi.org.
