Harold Rudolph Tucker

BOWIE – Harold Rudolph Tucker, 85, Bowie, TX died on Oct. 10, 2021.
A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. on Oct. 14 at Hopewell Cemetery in Stoneburg with Chaplain Phillip Weitner officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior the service at the cemetery on Oct. 14.
Tucker was born on Sept. 3, 1936 to Otis and Jessie Tucker. He married Wanda Lea Harris on Dec. 22, 1954 and together they had five children. He later married Peggy Lynn Woods on March 10, 1978 and gained six more children. They were together for 43 years. Tucker served in the United States Air Force from August 1958 to August 1964. Tucker worked as a carpenter and builder for the majority of his life. He was also an ordained minister.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Jessie Tucker, son, Steven Dewayne Tucker, brothers, Doyle Tucker, James Tucker and Robert Tucker; sister, Patricia Tucker Hullett; step-brothers, EJ Tucker and Raymond Tucker and step-sisters, Thelma Tucker Boutwell, Irene Tucker Reed and Pauline Tucker Brown.
Tucker is survived by his wife, Peggy Lynn Tucker; sons, Stanley Tucker, Rosston and Stuart Tucker, Little Elm; daughters, Becky Butler, Melissa and Raima Scott, Bowie; step-sons, Wayne Woods, Nocona, Ronnie Woods and Eugene Woods both of Bowie; step-daughter, Sherry Sims, Nocona and Penny Shoefstall, Bowie; brothers, Jerry Tucker, Fort. Worth, Kenneth Tucker, Fort Worth; sister, Glenna Drew, Fort Worth; 27 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
