Philip Randall Peters

Wesley Chapel, FL – Philip Randall Peters, age 67, died of cancer on June 3, 2022 in Wesley Chapel, FL.
Instead of a traditional funeral, his friends will organize a celebration of life this summer with a graveside burial in Bowie later this year.
Philip was born June 11, 1954 in Comanche, OK to parents Randall R. Peters and Estelle Pulius Peters. He graduated from Bowie High School in 1972 then completed a degree in personnel management at the University of North Texas. Philip went on to a have a successful career in the banking industry, then media and entertainment. He was semi-retired and working with a money management company at the time of his passing.
Those who knew him will remember Philip for his humility, kindness and infectious smile. He was a gentle man, like his father. He was a talented musician, technical guru and lover of film and reality television with a passionate love affair with Whataburger.
He is survived by his niece Shannon Cagle, Callisburg, TX; grand-nephew, Josh Cagle, Gainesville and grand-niece, Mandy Cagle, Austin.
