Rebecca Lynne Dansby

August 10, 1944 – June 12, 2022
BELLEVUE – Rebecca “Becky” Lynne Dansby, 77, went to be with our Lord on June 12, 2022. She is resting peacefully free from Alzheimer’s and with the love of her life Don.
The family received friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on June 14 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on June 15 at the First Baptist Church of Bellevue with Pastor Robert Slayton officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
Becky was born on Aug. 10, 1944 to Rebecca Hanna Reese and O.A. “Jim “Reese. Becky was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and grandmother. She wore the titles of mama, BL, friend, and grandmom with such grace, dignity and pride.
She was strong, caring, kind and just a little sarcastic. She showed an unwavering amount of support and devotion to the people and things that she loved the most in this world: Her family, friends, cattle and Dr. Pepper with a side of M&Ms.
Becky is preceded in death by her husband, Don Dansby and her parents, Rebecca Hanna Reese and O.A. “Jim” Reese.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Maddin and husband Kyle, Bellevue; son, Derek Dansby and wife Jamie, Iowa Park; grandchildren, Rebecca Maddin and fiancé Aiden Finstad, Bellevue, Kaitlyn Sandoval and husband Ricardo, Lakeside City and Davis and Delaney Dansby, Iowa Park; two sisters, Penny Seago and husband Earl, Godley and Laura “Lolly” Hartman and husband Dennis, Weatherford; brothers-in-law David Dansby and wife Sue, Denton, Randy Dansby and wife Janet, Plano and Richard Dansby and wife Karen, Abilene as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
