North Texans ready for cooler fall temperatures.

After a summer full of triple-digit, heat-filled days, the folks of North Texas are more than ready for the arrival of fall.
The first official day of Autumn is Sept. 22 for those in the northern hemisphere. The fall equinox is an astronomical prediction of when the sun will cross the equator making daytime and nighttime approximately the same length across the Earth. It happens usually Sept. 22 or 23.
