Bowie Chamber of Commerce honors it top business members
The Bowie Chamber of Commerce celebrated its members Monday night at the annual awards banquet recognizing not only outstanding business members, but local volunteerism.
A large crowd of about 250 mingled among 31 beautifully decorated tables showcasing business members. The first awards of the night went to the table decorators.
Bowie Economic Development Corporation won first place for its colorful “Bowie or Bust” table. My Oasis earned second place with its tropical-inspired table. Montague County Grand Jury issues November indicted cases
The following indictments were filed with the 97th District Clerk following the November session of the Montague County Grand Jury.
There were a total of 13 indictments with one sealed awaiting the arrest of a suspect.
A grand jury indictment is not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
