The North Central Texas College Angels in the Infield tournament raised more than $2,000 for the scholarship fund of the same name. The tournament took place at Argyle High School due to wet grounds at Darwin Field in Gainesville. The scholarship honors four Lady Lion softball players who died in a bus accident back in September 2014. North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville served as tournament sponsor.
