Man crashes car ending high-speed pursuit

Saint Jo Police were involved in a high-speed pursuit where speeds topped 100 mph Friday evening along U.S. Highway 82 that ended with the driver crashing and rolling his vehicle near Greenbriar Road.
Saint Jo Police Chief Tyler Roy said the incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on July 22.
Officers were attempting to make a traffic stop on a possible speeding violation for Adriana Gaytan Silveyra, 25, Nocona. The male driver would not stop and began to accelerate driving west out of Saint Jo.
“It is not clear if there was some medical distress or possible intoxication, but the driving was very erratic. He drove more than 100 mph during the chase and almost hit several vehicles,” said the chief.
