Bowie Independent School Trustees will move forward with development of an energy efficiency project that could address aging heating and cooling units across the district, as well as other energy management issues.
During Monday night’s board meeting the board selected Entegral Solutions as its design-build company for the project. At a September meeting, Entegral officials projected the district could see savings of $100,000 to $140,000 based on the scope of the project.
Maintenance upgrades center around HVAC units and lighting, but also include management of those resources. The district advertised a request for firm qualifications with Entegral the sole proposal.

In addition, the newly elected board members took the oath of office and new board officers were elected.
