Bill Onley began his career teaching history and coaching and after several years he moved into administration. He brings experience and enthusiasm to his new job as assistant principal at Bowie Junior High.
Onley fills a vacancy that opened up after Jeneanne Fleming moved up to principal at the end of the last school year.
Growing up in Caruthers, MO, a town of about 7,800, Onley says Bowie reminded him of his hometown.
“The first time we came here I felt a strong sense of familiarity and comfort because it reminded me of my hometown,” he states.
