TNT readies annual membership meeting
Tales ‘N’ Trails Museum will host its annual membership meeting on June 20 and guests will see the progress on the western hall expansion.
The board of directors is hosting a come and go reception from 2-3:30 p.m. on June 20. Along with its many activities the museum is celebrating its 10th year.
Construction of the western hall expansion which focuses on cattle drives, railroad and leather goods, has been progressing well, but the COVID-19 restrictions put a stop to work. The board had hoped to be open by April, but at the membership meeting guests will be able to see much of the progress.
Tales ‘N’ Trails operates through the North Texas Society of History and Culture, and relies on donations, memberships and grants. Along with the reception the board will fill one position on the board. Light refreshments will be served.
Membership levels (per year) are as follows: Individual, $30; family, $50; family and friends, $100; sustaining level, $250; patron, $500; benefactor, $1,000 and super benefactor, $1,200.
All members are encouraged to attend.
