Kit Rudd is riding horseback from Amarillo to Dallas to raise awareness for the homeless. On Wednesday, he riding along U.S. Highway 287 shown here just north of Bowie. Rudd is vice president of Yellow City Community Outreach in Amarillo, which is raising money to build tiny homes to help those who are homeless. Sewer line replacement moving forward

A section of Roach Street has been closed for the last few weeks as a new sewer line was installed replacing old clay tile line. It is phase two of multi-phase sewer line project across the city funded through a Texas Water Development Board loan of more than $9.7 million. The All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast at the senior center was served up on April 25 with these FFA members helping serve. This was a fundraiser for Meal on Wheels.
