Cindy Kahler Thomas

Friends of the Library will present an Art in the Library reception for Cindy Kahler Thomas, a Wichita Falls artist from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 9 at the library.
The public is invited to meet the artist, view her work and enjoy refreshments.
Thomas’ favorite media is stained glass and ink. While she enjoyed art when she was younger, in her 30s a lifelong friend introduced her to stain glass mosaics and she fell in love. A volunteer for the Wichita Falls Art Association, the artist feels privileged to be surrounded by art at the group’s gallery at 600 8th Street, where she often shows her own hart. She also teaches art classes to children at the Kemp Center for the Arts.
