Prairie Valley presents play
The Prairie Valley Theatre Department will present “The School Spirit,” a One-Act-Play comedy by Scott Haan at 6:30 p.m. on April 30 in the gymnasium.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for beverages and snacks.
In the play, Faith and Ivy are best friends for life and beyond. On the surface, they don’t have much in common.
One is respectful, the other sarcastic. One is a friendly actress, the other a reclusive poet. Oh yeah, one is alive, the other, not so much. Ivy had been dead for weeks, and only Faith can still see or hear her.
How can a ghost help Faith achieve her goal of landing the lead in the school play? And for that matter, why is Ivy still hanging around anyway?
Admission will be $5. Call 940-841-2612 for more information. Make plans to attend.
The show is produced by special arrangement with Eldridge Publishing Company.
Cast members are: Kincaid Johnson, Samantha Tompkins, Emily Carpenter, Kaden Flemin, Bailee Tipton, Veronica Gutierrez, Shelby Roof, Taylor Franklin, Jonathan Sloan, Nick Bell, Sergio Mancilla, Gary Dale Miller, Isac Perkins and Brock Tompkins.
Production crew members are: Tyler Reid, Shane Roof, Eain Perkins, Adam Priddy, Brendan Dunn, CeCe Mahin and James Gaston.
