Primary runoff voting day goes to four locations

Countywide voting locations will be set up at four sites for the July 14 party primary runoff elections, with one location for early voting.
A little more than a month ago, Elections Administration Ginger Wall spoke to the Montague County Commissioner’s Court about her concerns about having enough judges to man the locations in light of the COVID-19 restrictions. It led to consolidating to one early voting location, which will be at the Montague Courthouse Annex in Montague.
However, during Tuesday’s court meeting the decision was made to set up four voting centers for election day on July 14 located at Bowie Bible Baptist Church, Justice Community Center in Nocona, Saint Jo Civic Center and Montague Courthouse Annex. Early voting for the party runoffs opens on June 29.
