Wells records fourth ace

Cal Wells recorded a hole-in-one on Hole No. 3 Sunday during the Big Game at Twisted Oaks Golf Club.
This was Wells’ fourth career ace.
Odds of a hole-in-one are estimated at 14,000 to 1, according to Twisted Oaks PGA professional Ron Moxom.
Wells of Bowie shot the low round of the day with a 2-under-par 68.
The par-3 played at 122 yards.
Trace Morris and Terry Gunter served as the witnesses; and the trio won the overall prize at plus-4. The trio of Ken Rhoades, Andy Duke and Truman Duke were second at plus-10.
The Tuesday scramble will return at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 24.
This will be a four-person, five-hole scramble.
