Good Luck, break a leg, Nocona One Act Play as you head to state

Nocona High School one act play will take its Shakespearean production of “Boar’s Head,” to Austin this week to compete at the State UIL Meet on May 20.

State performance will be at the University of Texas at Austin McCullough Theater and the public is welcome to attend at $12 for adults and $10 for students. Eight competing shows will perform in an afternoon session, 4 to 7:30 p.m. and an evening session, 7:30 to 11 p.m. Director Karla Murphey said Nocona has drawn the eighth and final spot of the day with curtain time around 10:30 p.m.

A public performance is planned for 3 p.m. May 18 at the high school auditorium.
