Local firefighters hang the flag or Army soldier

City of Bowie Fire Department extended American flags off the two U.S. 287 bridges on July 18 in honor of 1st SG Russell McIIroy, whose body was being transported to Wichita Falls for burial. The Clarksville, TN U.S. Army soldier is the son of Gene and Covie Mcllroy, Jolly, and was a Bronze Star recipient for his service in the Afghanistan.
