County Jail inmate’s death ruled suicide
The death of a 28-year-old James McGowan, who was found dead in his Montague County Jail Cell on July 29, has been ruled a suicide.
Officials with the Texas Rangers, who are investigating the death, said Tuesday it has been ruled a “suicide by hanging.” An autopsy was conducted at the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
