Cottontail 8’s throttle Henrietta

For openers, the Bowie Junior High School eighth-grade football team started strong with a 36-12 victory over Henrietta at Jackrabbit Stadium on Thursday.
The Cottontails are 1-0 heading into the Sept. 18 game at Pottsboro. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m.
Jacob Skinner helped Bowie to victory, scoring once on a 32-yard interception return for a touchdown and later recovering a fumble to give the team a short field.
