BOWIE JUNIOR HIGH: Cottontail 7A’s garner WF Tournament

The Bowie Junior High School seventh-grade “A” team won a tournament in Wichita Falls this past Saturday.
The girls defeated Wichita Falls Barwise 35-15, Burkburnett 32-18 and Wichita Falls McNiel 34-26 for the championship.
On Monday, the Bowie seventh-grade girls continued their winning ways, defeating Henrietta 41-13.

Richey headed to National Finals

Bowie’s Cason Richey (right) and his horse Hello Lashes, qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo this month. Richey competes in team roping as a part of the Texas Tech University rodeo team as a freshman. The CNFR is scheduled for June 15-21 at Casper, WY.
