BOWIE SUBVARSITY REPORT: Hardee lifts JV Maroon to win
The Bowie High School junior varsity girls and the JV Maroon boys’ teams both earned victories over Nocona on Tuesday.
Bowie JV Maroon defeated Nocona 55-24, in which the Maroons outscored the Indians 21-8 in the first quarter en route to the win. Trace Hardee dropped in a team-best 19 points.
The Bowie JV girls outscored Nocona 13-3 in the third quarter, eventually winning 42-20. The win was thread to the Gills, as Lauren Gill tallied 12 points and Aubrey Gill 10.
There was no Bowie-Nocona freshman boys’ game.
The Bowie freshman girls’ game was unreported to The Bowie News.
